6th Annual AAI Conference on Weblogs and Social Media, 6th June
The 6th International AAAI Conference on Weblogs and Social Media (ICWSM) will take place in Trinity College Dublin on Wednesday 6th June 2012. This year in addition to the usual program of contributed technical talks, posters and invited presentations, the main conference will include a selection of keynote talks from prominent social scientists and technologists. Submissions describing research that blends social science and computational approaches are especially encouraged

A new directory of support services was launched today by the Minister for Small Businesses, John Perry, TD. The Info2Innovate Directory is part-funded by the EU and is managed by the Enterprise Europe Network in Ireland as part of the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP).

XXI CENTURY LIFFEY: CONNECTOR + DIVIDER is the first of two planned exhibitions for 2012 by urban designers and planners Fergus Browne and David Jordan. The work to be showcased is the product of the Urban Nexus Initiative which was established in 2010. The central aim of the initiative is to investigate why certain spaces in our cities fail to be as successful as others and to respond to this with design solutions.
