InterTradeIreland 2011 All-Island Innovation Conference
Queen’s University Belfast will play host to 2011’s InterTradeIreland All-Island Innovation Conference entitled ‘Building Capacity for Innovation’.
The InterTradeIreland All-Island Innovation Programme, which aims to promote and encourage innovation across the island, organises a series of free innovation lectures, seminars and master classes throughout the year to share international best practice in areas of innovation.
The events, which take place in Belfast, Dublin and Galway each year, are attended by over 1,000 business leaders, policy makers, students and academics from across the island.
Their flagship event, the All-island Innovation Conference will take place in the Whitla Hall, Queen’s University Belfast on Tuesday 4th October and Wednesday 5th October. It is jointly organised by InterTradeIreland, Queens University Belfast, NovaUCD and the Centre for Innovation and Structural Change at NUI Galway.
The conference is free to attend and will explore how innovation can stimulate economic recovery and what the best methods are for implementing such changes.
The keynote speaker will be the Ernest L. Arbuckle Professor of Business Administration, Professor Rosabeth M Kanter, from Harvard Business School who will explore how innovation contributes to success.
