Toronto celebrates World Creativity and Innovation Week, 15-21 April
Kicking off on Leonardo Da Vinci’s birthday on April 15th, Toronto is this week celebrating ‘World Creativity and Innovation Week’ - an initiative that’s been up and running since 2002 and is now celebrated in 46 countries around the globe.
As we prepare for this year’s festval we’re always keen to see how other organisations, cities and countries go about celebrating and promoting innovation.
World Creativity and Innovation Week ‘celebrates, acknowledges, informs, inspires and encourages people to use their creativity to make the world a better place and to make their place in the world better too.’
It is about affirming everyone’s ability to generate new ideas and make new decisions in any arena – home, school, business and government.
They have a series of events over on their official homepage, along with creativity and innovation-related articles, book recommendations and lots more.
We love to discover other festivals promoting the power of innovation and creativity - good luck to all involved!
