Leancamp Event - June 23rd 2012

Entrepreneurs are the key to economic growth in Ireland.  Diversity will result in Innovation and ThousandSeeds in partnership with the Innovation Academy at UCD are bringing Leancamp to Dublin on Saturday June 23.  Leancamp is a ‘not-for-profit’ venture and is setup to stimulate the use of Lean, Agile and systematic methodologies.  We’re connecting ‘thought-leaders’, entrepreneurs & businesses in Lean Startup, Business Model Innovation and Design.

Leancamp is creating communities of entrepreneurs who embrace a planned-learning attitude, and pervade a healthy attitude to failure, evolution and customer focus. Leancamp aims to spark leadership in this investment-friendly direction and strengthen international ties between startups, investment and industry communities.

Leancamp is run using an unconference approach (details on: http://www.leanca.mp/about)

The outcomes from the one day power-action sessions at Leancamp are;
• Learn about tools and methodologies to get to market faster
• Gain insight into how your peers are successfully implementing their ideas using these tools
• Advance your personal lean entrepreneurship toolbox
• Learn from entrepreneurs who ‘have been there and done that’.
Leancamps have run with participation from local entrepreneurs, designers and developers, and thought-leaders like Eric Ries, Alex Osterwalder, John Mullins, Janice Fraser, Patrick Vlaskovits, David Heinemeier Hansson, Dave Gray, and many others.

Date: Saturday June 23
Venue: Health Sciences Building, UCD Belfield Campus, UCD, Dublin 4
