Toy Story and Cars Director to Share Knowledge and Experience with Irish Public
Director John Lasseter, currently the Chief Creative Officer of Pixar at Disney Studios is to attend a discussion in Dublin next week as part of IFTA’s ‘In Conversation…’ series.
Lassetar, who is most notable for writing and directing the Toy Story trilogy, is in Dublin to promote his new movie Cars 2 at Cineworld on Monday July 25.
IFTA CEO Áine Moriarty said: “It is with great pleasure that we welcome John Lasseter to Ireland for this very special IFTA creative learning event.
“The animation sector is one of the strongest within the Irish industry, with home-produced feature film and television productions achieving great success and reaching record audiences in Ireland and around the globe.
